Capypine Open EatOutLog

For restaurants

See your menu the way your guests rate it.

Every time a diner logs a meal on EatOutLog, they rate each dish they ordered and say whether they would order it again. For a restaurant, that adds up to something review sites do not give you: feedback on each item on the menu, from people who actually ate it, separate from how the night went at the front of house.

Free for every restaurant

  • Claim your listing. Keep your website, menu and details correct in the app and on the web.
  • A Claimed badge. Shows diners that the restaurant itself runs the page.
  • See your ratings. Your restaurant may already have dishes rated by diners. Claiming lets you see them in one place.

Insights, a paid plan per restaurant

The full dashboard, organized the way a manager thinks about the week:

  • Overview: plain-language findings ranked by how much they matter, and visits, ratings and saves compared with the period before.
  • Menu: each dish compared with the same kinds of dishes at restaurants nearby, menu price next to what diners say they paid, and how consistently the kitchen gets each dish right by day of the week.
  • Guests: first and return visits, locals and visitors, and the reasons guests give when they would not come back.
  • Reach: from someone seeing your dishes in the app to walking through the door, and how visits changed during each special you posted.
  • Ask your guests: one multiple-choice question to people who visited recently.
  • Reports: download any of it as a spreadsheet.

Restaurants with more than one location see every location under one sign-in, side by side. Restaurants that use Square or Toast can connect their point-of-sale system read-only, so sales sit next to ratings.

  • Your dishes appear higher in the Home feed for people nearby, always marked as Promoted.
  • A rotating spot at the top of Search for people near you.
  • A highlighted dish with a photo, price and description at the top of your page.
  • Deals, such as a happy hour, for as long as you choose.

What a plan never buys

Restaurants cannot edit, hide or remove ratings, whether or not they pay. Offering diners anything in exchange for a rating is against our Restaurant Operator Terms. That is what makes the ratings worth reading, for diners and for you. How ratings work explains the rules.

How claiming works

  1. Find your restaurant on EatOutLog and choose Claim this restaurant, or add it if it is not listed yet.
  2. Show that you run it. Owners and managers can claim. Tell us your role and add anything that helps, such as a business license or a work ID. Our team reviews every claim and emails you the decision.
  3. Open your dashboard. Once your claim is approved, the listing is yours to keep current. Add Insights whenever you are ready.
